As a developer/SharePoint expert what are the areas that you need to know well when you develop portals. Which are fixes that you do when you migrate the SharePoint 2007 web content site to SharePoint 2010. How best can you use bolt on (Telerik Controls) in web sites. Will be also talking why SharePoint designer not a good friend for SharePoint developer. Finally a case study on SharePoint role in Cardinal Health.

Abbas Syed is a SharePoint Solutions Developer for Cardinal Health Enterprise IT. He specializes in the Custom Development aspects of SharePoint, implementing Customized branding, creating web content managed sites and leads SharePoint development team at Cardinal Health.  He is a very seasoned developer and plays different roles at Cardinal health as a SharePoint Consultant, Project Manager and Solutions Architect to list few. He thrives on the challenges of working with web technologies to solve problems and meet Cardinal Health Internal project demands. He comes with a vast array of technical knowledge and his current expertise is in SharePoint  WCM, Console Apps, jQuery, Javascript, C#, ASP.NET, CSS, & SQL.
 
Abbas has close to 10 years of IT experience in Microsoft technologies. He started his career working on Classic ASP and building business components in Visual Basic and Microsoft Transaction Server before transitioning to .NET in 2003.
 
When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his kids. He lives in Dublin OH
