SharePoint Certification

70-331: Cliff Notes edition

While there are many good reasons to become certified in SharePoint.  There is always the notion that the skills measured on the test do not match the skills needed to support a real life SharePoint farm.

There are five main categories that MS has indicated as MUST, for anyone trying to maintain a SharePoint farm: Design, Security, Configuration, Usability, and Maintenance. We are going to step through each of those categories and provide you tips and comparisons between what’s on the guidelines and what we have seen implemented on corporate clients.

There are many advantages to you and your company about the certification program. While some of the advantages are pretty obvious: job promotions and marketability for you and your company.  There are other non-linear benefits, like productivity!  There is a direct benefit for your company in terms of an increase in the business agility.  With the speed of technology innovation, it is becoming increasingly hard to keep up.

After we cover all 5 sections, our hope is that you will be able to formulate a strategy on how to identify those areas that need to strengthen.  Maybe you will be compelled to get into the certification wagon. Come and find out how you can get started on the path to certification.

Randel will be sharing some of the information about the newest SharePoint 2016 Certification

Drinks and a light dinner will be provided.  No RSVP needed.
