From boring to RESPONSIVE: "Bootstrap" your SharePoint!

With all of the security concerns and custom development out there, Microsoft seems to be directing site owners to rely on more client side components that are easily accessible and lightweight that their custom developed counterparts.

In this session we will introduce an open source framework that can be used as a basis for creating responsive sites or web applications.  This framework was originally created by Twitter and its team.  Then they release it as an open source to the general community.

Bootstrap: “…is the most popular HTML, CSS, and JavaScript framework for developing responsive, mobile-first websites. One of the main benefits of development frameworks like Bootstrap is that they can help speed up development times, while maintaining quality and consistency across the site…”

In this session we will cover on how to apply this framework specifically to O365/SharePoint online (or on premises).
We will cover these topics:

•How to get started with Bootstrap
•Modify the existing sample themes to adhere to your requirements.
•How to add bootstrap to O365 allow for a fluid mobile site.
•Make calls to the SharePoint script file: “sp.js” to dynamically load your content from a SharePoint list.

Please join us, as we will try to change your boring SharePoint list views into visual stunning dashboards.
