SharePoint PnP (Patterns and Practices) Introduction

Did you know that the largest collection of standards and samples for SharePoint development is an open source project?  The Microsoft SharePoint team started an open source initiative to address the issue of too many source of information.  Patterns and Practices is a community project to put together the standards for doing development.  It contains Documentation, guidance, samples, controls, etc.
This open source has been broken into many categories (PnP controls, JS Core, GDPR Hub,  Branding,  PoweShell, Extensions, etc).  In this presentation we will introduce you to the General PnP Repository.
We will also cover some of the applied uses of PnP in the real world.  This will give you a better understanding on how you can utilize this set of standards for any of your projects (o365 or SharePoint onpremise).
