The Frugal Admin does Free SharePoint Tools -- 2014 edition

Even SharePoint Foundation (SPF) can cost considerable money, time, and effort to implement and maintain. Why spend a penny more if you don't have to (or if you don't have it)? SharePoint does have some tools built in, but they often aren't quite enough. So, inevitably, people seek better offerings, and end up paying a lot of money for them. Did you know there are free SharePoint monitoring tools, a lot of them, available online? Diagnostic and auditing tools, web parts, scripts, and even new cmdlets to help automate and improve backup/restore capabilities. There is all kinds of free stuff for SharePoint out there. Come see a list of some of the best of them, some quick demonstrations of my favorites, with tips and tricks about trustworthy places to get them, and where to keep a look out for more.

 Community Time for Power Users

Our goal is that this time will be use to introduce SharePoint features (tips/tricks), ask questions, answer questions, showcase a technique, etc. by the attendees.
