Real world workflows from the trenches

SharePoint have always been an 80-20 platform.  It delivers out of the box MOST of the functionality that an enterprise needs.  Once you have reached that 80% rule, then it is up to the 3rd party vendors to step-in and try to fill in the gap.
Nintex is one of those vendors. With their Workflow engine and their Forms they have allowed corporations to automate solutions for their business process.  Applying the 80-20 rule again on this tool, we would find ourselves creating solutions that can be very complex.
In this presentation, we will show a couple of advanced tricks that you can use today to get over that 80% hump.  Some of the tips and tricks involve a bit more than just drag and drop:  calling web services (both SharePoint and Nintex.asmx).  We will show you When/How to use javascript to fill that business case that Nintex can't get.
